The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has announced the 2024 BECE examination date. According to WAEC the Junior High Students(JHS) candidate will start writing BECE exam starting on the date Monday, 8th to Friday, 12th July, 2024.
Every candidate was advice to avoid examination malpractices because the eradication enforcement will be on standard which will lead to absolute termination of candidate exam paper with an immediate effect without negotiation.
Any teacher, headmaster, invigilator or school authority who will be caught in affiliation to any malpractice will be rendered according to the law.
2024 BECE for School & Private Candidates Registration
The portal was opened already for the registration of candidates on Monday, 11th March, 2024. The portal will be closed on Friday, 19th April, 2024. The BECE for School and Private Candidates, 2024 will be administered from Monday, 8th to Friday, 12th July, 2024. All relevant stakeholders are urged to adhere to these timelines as the Council may not be able to accommodate late entries due to test security reasons. The Council held briefing sessions for all stakeholders who will be involved in the registration of candidates from Tuesday, 20th to Friday, 23rd February, 2024.
