Ghana cedi which started appreciating since January 2025 and massively in May is now finding it difficult to appreciate further. The appreciation rate bounce at GHS10.24 to $1 and as of today 31st May, it slitly depreciate to GHS10.38 to $1.
The votality is currently high between Ghana cedi and US dollar, there is a fear of depreciation of cedi if surious attention is not taken by Bank of Ghana and policy makers.
