The code is also used for data borrowing on MTN telecom network.

You may borrow under uncontrollable circumstances but it is recommend not to found yourself on borrowing because of the following reasons.
- Borrowing is not free, an extra amount is deducted as an interest which incurs from next airtime reload.
- The borrowed airtime does not contain bonus.
- If borrowing owing exceed the maximum threshold you cannot borrow even in critical condition.
- When owing, a purchase of data bundle from Mobile money on the same number will instead be used automatically to settle the borrowed amount.
