How to check BECE / WASSCE placement in Ghana.

Foremost you need to buy placement checker with the short code *920*44# on any network [MTN, Telecel (Vodafone), AirtelTigo] then proceed to Waec wesite to check placement. Follow the step listed below to check your school place ment.

How to buy pacement checker

  1. Dail *920*44# on your phone then send
  2. Choose option 2 “Buy SHS placement check” and send
  3. Under Select quantity, choose 1 or choose 2 or 3 accordingly if want to check 2 or 3 people’s placement.
  4. Select option 1 to proceed with Mobile Money payment.
  5. In the dialogue that appear form mobile money, dial your pin code and send for the payment.
  6. You will receive your placement checker code, use it to check your placement as described below.

Checking placement with placement checker

  1. Visit or click to open; https://cssps.gov.gh/placement.html
  2. Enter your 10 digits index number + the last 2 digit of the examination year in the space provided and click  “proceed”.
  3. Enter the eVoucher purchased
  4. Enter the Voucher Pin Code
  5. Wait after which your school placement will show, download or print the slip.
