MTN free After One (1) formally known as “Nkomode” is a service that allows you to pay for the 1st minute of each local call and enjoy 10 free minutes on all networks plus 70Mb daily. The MTN free after one code is *550# then option 6 (*550*6#) in Ghana. Follow the steps below to access the service.
Steps to activate MTN free After 1
- Dial *550# and send
- Select option 6 “Free After 1“
- Chose option 1 “FA 1” or option 2 “FA Extra” which gives you 60 free Minutes of uninterrupted calls. Pay for the 1st after 10 minutes on all networks plus 70Mb daily.
- Choose option 1 again “Activate“
- You will see a popup message confirming successful activation.
NOTE” You need to deactivate the service manually if you don’t want o use it any longer or temporary.
Steps to deactivate (cancel) MTN free After 1
- Dial *550# and send
- Select option 6 “Free After 1“
- Chose option 1 “FA 1” or option 2 “FA Extra” depending on the one you activated
- Choose option 2 “Deactivate“
- You will see a popup message confirming successful deactivation.
