How to activate MTN Zone bundle?.
Unlike other bundle service whereby you can gift or buy data bundle from your airtime balance to your friend’s number. You can only buy Zone bundle by getting access to the phone containing the sim card.
With the sim yo want to purchase the data on, follow the steps to activate MTN Zone bundle;
- Dial *135# and send
- Select option two (2) “Zone bundles” and send
- Again from the next dialog box that will appear, choose option 1 “Data Zone bundle“
- Choose from the list your preferred package and send. eg; 2.39 Ghana Cedis will give your 2Gb data.
- You will get a prompt to confirm, click send to confirm your purchase.
MTN Zone bundle not working
Many MTN users get error and were unable to purchase the bundle successfully. they get the following error prompt “You have to have an active bundle to access Data Zone“.
What does that means? It simply means you need to be active or regular in data purchasing with the default MTN Data Bundle Service before you can be allowed to use MTN Zone bundle.
