Ratvad is a Ghana-based online marketplace dedicated to Ghanaians. We serve as the official online aggregator for physical stores, shops, and businesses across the country, connecting local sellers with verified buyers.

Communication & Chats

Comments: When visitors leave comments on the platform, these comments are public and can be viewed by any user.

Private Chats: Conversations between buyers and sellers on Ratvad are private. They can only be seen and read by the participants involved in the chat.

Media & Uploads

If you upload images to the platform, we recommend avoiding images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Other visitors can potentially download and extract location data from images publicly available on the platform.

Cookies

We use cookies to enhance your experience. If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name and email for convenience. Login cookies last for two days, while "Remember Me" options persist for two weeks. Cookies used for product editing expire after 24 hours.

Data Sharing & Retention

We strictly do not share user data with third parties, except in cases of suspected criminal activity where intervention by security services is required. Registered user information is stored securely and can be edited or deleted by the user at any time.

Your Rights

You have the right to request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You may also self-delete your account at any time. This does not include data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
